Level is one of the most crucial measuring parameter in various industries and is used in wide range of applications. Liquid Level Detection is the measurement of the height of particular media with respect to a reference point or the base of the containing tanks. Some of the common typical applications for liquid level detection would be lift stations in wastewater treatment systems, bore hole or well level measurement or level of a liquid in a tank.

A waste water industry has large deep vessels where waste water enters and then it is pumped from one location to another. The liquid level detection sensors measure the height of waste water in the tanks and send a signal to the controller. The controllers start and stop the pumps to maintain the level in the tanks.

The new environment regulations with higher safety standard emphasis on accurately controlling the level in the tanks preventing spills that could harm environment. Conversely, too low level can damage the pumps. Hence waste water industry needs precise monitoring of liquid level. ALVI Technologies provides a dependable solution for liquid level detection in the form of NB10.

Our measuring probe NB10 is designed around a highly sensitive pressure sensor with a silicon membrane measuring element with a measuring range of 1m to 250m. The probe has a very low hysteresis and offers high measurement accuracy. The well probe is electrically connected to a permanent cable. This cable has an internal tube to compensate for variations in air pressure that could influence the measuring results.
